Capturing the rapid rise of the "Seven Nation Army" chant just before the phenomenon went global, The White Stripes’ return to Italy on the Get Behind Me Satan tour finds the band back in the country where the fuse was first lit. A perfect snapshot highlighting the riff's journey to becoming an international sports anthem, the concert at the PalaDozza arena in Bologna is itself almost like a sporting event, with the audience playing the part of Ultras - the dedicated fans who attend every game and sing songs in unison to show support for their favorite team. Listen as the crowd spontaneously break out into the "Seven Nation Army" chant mid-show, later taking over the song in the encore while Jack sings the final verse over them. Just like a great game, this concert is filled with excellent performances, including an ultra-rare quote from the song "There’s No Home For You Here", only played a handful of times during the band's live history. Also check out the new approach that Meg White uses on songs like "Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground", "Jolene", "Ball and Biscuit", and "I’m Finding It Harder To Be A Gentleman", giving them each a more driven accompaniment on the drums, as if in response to the energy coming from the audience. Jack is also in rare form here, match-fit from the start, introducing himself to the crowd in Italian: “Io sono Jack White, e ho il fuoco dentro!” (I am Jack White, and I have the fire inside!). Yeah, it’s that kind of show. Months later, the Italian national team would go on to win the World Cup, on Jack’s birthday, and you know how the story goes from there.  Ohhhhhh-oh, oh, oh, oh, ohhhhh, oh…
