As has been noted on several previous occasions, many punters coming to see Crimson in action have marvelled at how well some older KC material fits this expanded line-up, as though it had always been waiting for this group to come along and play the repertoire. Well, it turns out they weren’t the only ones to think that. David Singleton, while touring with the band, wrote of Level Five, “During this track, Robert had the sense that for the very first time, Crimson were playing their music in their complete form. As if previously, this had been orchestral music played on a piano or a sinfonietta, and now it was finally being played by a full symphony orchestra.”
