I was at both shows, both nights. I was lucky enough to meet 5 out of the 6 band members the first night. I`ve been an SCI fan now for a few years--and never thought I`d get the chance to see them live. I was a bit disapointed with the number of cover songs they decided to play (redneck mother, walk this way, could you be loved)...SCI has SO MANY awesome, original songs they could have played instead! The other reviews are correct though; the band was ON POINT both nights! I have many, many live SCI concerts on CD and on my computer...and this is one of the better ones folks! Check the song, "Desert Dawn" out...!

Awesome! 1st time ever seeing them,but not new to their music.Always loved their tunes...concert was exactly what I thought it would be...always a pleasure to see and hear a great band....nicely done and super tight....party on and don`t stop dancing!

Originally from Alaska and totally stoked to have the Cheese up here. This show was my first String Cheese show and I danced the entire evening, in fact, there was no reason why anyone shouldn`t have been dancing. The music was that good!

Favorite parts of the show...the "Over the Hills.." aka..right after Shenandoah Breakdown tease by Billy and Mike. They need to learn that one! "Could you be loved" was most excellent, we were thinking this was the set closer, but, as you can see, they kept it going. How about the "Melt your face Jam"? Holy smokes. The guys looked like they were truly, truly, truly having a great time and enjoying the outdoors in Alaska.

HEAVY KUDOS...to the Mooses Tooth for taking the initiative and asking the band to come to Alaska...and for 2 nights!!! I hope SCI understands how grateful Alaska was to have such a great, great band come to our beautiful land...Lets hope SCI releases night two at the Bears Tooth (just as good, only indoors) and that SCI comes back...Bring back the ju ju!

I havn`t been a long time listener to the band, mabye like 4 years, but from what I understand from long time listeners is that the band were in tip top form for the two night Alaska run. Judging by all the sweat, delicious on tap beer, smoke, heady scenery and love of community-these two shows demonstrate what LIVE MUSIC and SCI are all about. Get out, get up, go see a show, dance.
