Reviews for Widespread Panic: 6/7/2013 Mountain Jam, Hunter, NY

   Ken  (11/28/2017 5:00:34 PM)

The rain fell so intensely that day that I was wearing "The Deadliest Catch" type rain gear and I still got soaked. That did not deter Panic one bit however. They came out and blazed through it effortlessly. Good People was great and the extended One Arm Steve into Jack was simply superb Panic for set one. The second set smoked as well with Pigeons and You Should Be Glad being standout renditions. The highlight was a scary good Low Spark with the inimitable Bill Evans on sax. To say it was fabulous is an understatement. Surprise Valley/Papa Legba/Surprise Valley sealed the deal. Travelin' Light closed a simply great show. Everybody got soaked but nobody cared in the least.
