THE DANK CHEESE IS BAAAAACK!!! Pack It Up and Looking Glass were so damn intense I almost fell off the balcony dancing! I`ve seen some pretty durn good cheese shows but this one takes the cake by faaaar.

I `m a huge SCI fan and rarely lsitne to anything else, but I have been very disapointed with the very funkless tranceless ho hum start to the 2006 summer tour. I was really thinking that maybe I had seen the best of the band and maybe it was time to move on after my first three shows this tour left me leaving the venues slightly bored with a very dry T-shirt. But hold on to your booty becuase my fourth 06 incident was a non stop funk fest that had even the over the hill ratdod crowd spinning in the isles at Radio City. From the first note of way back home (which reminded me of the best WBH sandwich ever served up to the priates at Atlantas` fabulous Fox theatre Fall 05) that was followed by endless arrows and that Funky bass which turned out the non stop magic with epic version of pack it up and a crazier version Looking Glass (where was this version for the last two years) into some fine picking on dudelys > into the BEST Miss Browns` in over three years. Things where just smoking the whole night long with classic lands end > big apple jam > Glory Chords segment. Then to top all of that we where blessed with a well deserved tribute to Syd Barrett with a dreamy version of shine on you crazy diamond ending with a fantansic all star jam of I know you rider. To say the night was nothing short of amazing is an epic understatment. The SCI boys delievered hard with their trademark mind control funk for over two and half hours. I knew they still had it in em!!! Thanks for making me a sweaty crazy howling fan once again and sign me up for more of the same.

PS we saw Travis and Jason at the latenight Eoto gig at BB kings. Both confirmed how sick the show was and said it was the best cheese show they`ve play in along time.

Peace and love to the band and all the fans that made this night so special.

Amazing Show for us, we got a Miracle Trip to The PIT!! Some Guy asked us if we wanted to got to the pit, STUPID QUESTION! ofcourse we did! Our Seats were almost against the exit! We were in the front row for the entire cheese set! and it was PHAT! Cheese was tight, too bad it wasn`t a two set show!!! This night was the highlight of our vacation. I would recomend this show for purchase, the cheese rocked the radio city music hall!

PS: Check out the Rider

This was my 5th show, and it was my favorite Cheese set to date. Stand outs were Miss Brown`s Teahouse, Sometimes A River, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and the craziest I Know You Rider I have ever seen buy any band. THis is worth downloading twice. GET THIS SHOW

Let me start off by saying I was at the show for Ratdog. I had never heard or seen SCI. The name String Cheese Incident annoyed me so much I thought there was no way I could possibly like the band. I thought Ratdog had a pretty awsome set so I don`t think SCI "blew them outta the water" however, SCI totally blew me away and I actually agree that they had a tighter performance. Miss Brown`s Teahouse was amazing! I had never heard SCI before that night and I was impressed beyond imagination. Another thing that amazed me: What a Killer Light Show!!! Syd is my all time favorite musician, and as you can imagine it has been an emotional week. To hear the first keys of Shine On actually made my eyes water. Overall, fantastic. I never thought I would become a fan of a band with such a dumb name. What can I say though? As of 11:55pm in NYC on Friday I started to become a Cheesehead.

My first SCI show...I smiled all thru the show like a cheshire cat, i guess that`s what jamz will do to ya...sonic blasts in set 1 sent wave upon wave of good cheese sound in my brainpan, thanks guys for the nod to Syd, awesome Crazy Diamond!!! Love the SCI vibe, i`m on the bus with y`all now, and the wheel is turnin`, can`t slow down...THANKS for a real good time!

Rat Dog has no business playing with anyone. The Cheese made them look like a bad Grateful Dead cover band. The Cheese were tighter than ever and even know I would have rather had 2 sets it was still a great show. even songs like Looking Glass which I am not a big fan of had an unbelievable jam. The Cheese always bring it to the big apple and this night was no exception.
