Reviews for Widespread Panic: 6/24/2006 Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison, CO

A really nice evening. Real mellow but the tone was great and it was a great fitt between the other nights. The highlights had to be the double rainbow which lasted about an hour south of the venue and the lighting highlighting None of us are Free. Definitly not rocking but good music none the less.

The chainsaw city into second skin to end the second set was incredible, the rocks felt it too! Memoirs of the FOX w/ the chainsaw.. chillbumps just thinking about it. Good job boys!

I can`t stop thinking about the shows. When I`m there I feel like I`m in the next life in some kind of heavenly place, with good friends all around, Mother Nature, The Boys, my beloved friends and beautiful wife, yes that is singular, haha. Anyway, the show, all I can say is way to go McConnell!!! You have come a long, long way with the band in the last year. You were nailing solos this year that it seemed like we kept waiting for before that sometimes never came. I was blown away by how much more punctual you/he was. I think George is doing a splendid job at helping us remember Mikey while making it new and smokin` hot at the same time. Big shoes to fill George, nice work brother!!! Don`t forget Salt Lake in fall tour please!!!!

I think this night was great. I`ve never heard them play Life During Wartime before and it rocked-I think the download is worth that alone-But the lightning strikes off in Denver during the show was a nice touch for the visual.

This was the least favorite of my 3 days at red reocks. The show was good(especially the BLIGHT that shined through)but seemed to lack some of the fire that Friday AND Sunday had. Still looking for the Werewolves or Ophelia to pop back up!!!!!!!!Good stuff as always though -this is WSP

Good to see them finally do some exciting shit! Movie Simulcast, Sirius Simulcast and now Taylor Freakin` Hicks. Good to see that they are giving us more to talk about than the worn out "Should he stay or should he go now" debate. Cheers to EVERYBODY!

Best "Chainsaw City" I`ve ever heard by the way.

"Entire show w/ John Keane on Pedal Steel and Guitar". No wonder why it sounded so damn good!
