What a wonderful night in Wine Country. This venue was lovely, sound was great, staff was super friendly. There were seats, but you could dance in the aisles. I had second row center and wowzers what a treat! I really wanted to hear the new songs and they delivered them with a new edge from last fall, full of life and crispy intriguing new sounds for RRE. The highlight of the show was Black Bear second set. I always poopooed that tune being played second set of a show due to its very slow energy. I always questioned why RRE would place a song like that. This show proved why, and demanded complete attention. The emotion and low end thunder that was brought to life during this amazing Black Bear made me eat my previous thoughts. It took on a whole new feeling. It was earthy and incredible. Props to a Jeff Miller Powderfinger as well, and Jim from Taxi. Grand ole time!! I will never forget this night, and now I can remember it fully in all of it's glory!!
