Reviews for Widespread Panic: 10/31/2005 Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, NV

I myself was there in Vegas. I was absoluteley impressed with the perforance of these stellar musical genuises. They have never failed me before and probaly never will. J.B. still has soulful versatility and incredible improvisational skills on vocals and guitar. Schools doesn`t miss a lick. JoJo is a wiz of a pianist. Todd is a `solid rock`. Ortiz is percussive. George is evolving into Panics style and greatness and is definitley plays a key role in their greatness. They`ll `put a spell on you`.!A must have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I wasn`t at this show I bought it just because it`s their Halloween show, and they always bust out with new tunes they haven`t performed before. It`s a great show, but my only complaint is about the guy that keeps screaming out "Dave Schools, Dave Schools, Dave Schools" inbetween almost every song during the first set. It drives me crazy! Anyway, I just had to say that. Is anyone else annoyed by this?

This show was pretty good! I wouldn`t go into rave reviews about how it`s the best one thus far like some of the others. There where no really "ROCKIN" new covers, most of them were pretty slow, except for "No Where to Run" which seems more like a NYE cover than a spooky halloween cover. We`ll see it again on NYE though! This one has nothing on Halloween `98, but nevertheless a superb show.
