Reviews for Widespread Panic: 10/28/2005 Dodge Theatre, Phoenix, AZ

Took 2 first timers. Can`t divulge the strange configuration of substances used for the evening, or the wierd vibes I got from the crowd, however, I thought it was a great sampler of the earlier fall. A great show for the newcomers. Holden was powerful, great encore!

This show heated even Phoenix up. "Down" showed that McConnell can pick the slack up. "Walk on" and "Doreatha" was pretty much head candy. Schools tore up "Hold Oversoul" and "Xmas Katie" per usual. God bless downloads! WSP ended with a short yet powerful "Trouble"

3rd show...all on this tour. Pretty amazing experience. After I downloaded it I respected the show a lot more then when I was there. Lots of old favorites...and a few rarities. Sick Pigeons and Holden was great.

I woke up on Friday Thinking I was going to work. Instead my wife had planned a birthday surprise! We got on a plane flew from SLC to PHX, Partied our asses off with some friends. Then the big surprise a card with tickets to the WSP show!!! Wow! Could this be real? Half hour later having the time of our life`s at the Dodge theater. What a great show! So cool that I was able to download the show! I was surprised at the quality of the sound better than expected! Thanks Vicki and friends, WSP for making it a memorable 40 B-day!

Solid show with good energy. This was the Friday before Vegoose & Halloween, the boys came out and gave a stellar performance which built anticipation for Vegas. I really enjoyed Candace Brightman`s work on the lights, the hassle-free scene outside. Mention should go to the dancing Blue Indian in the pit - very clever. Set II flowed nice. The drums with deSoL was incredible followed by poetic transitions into Heaven & Tie Your Shoes. Thanks for returning to Phoenix!
