Reviews for Widespread Panic: 9/21/2005 Holmes Center, Boone, NC

Seen your sister naked.....  (9/24/2005 7:47:09 PM)

Solid show. The band was tight all night. Loved the `who do you belong to?` and the B of D was just nasty. Second Set sounds great and well worth the money. The crowd went nuts during Chilly Water. It`s great to see Panic in the Carolinas.

In Panic`s first show back in Boone in six years, they pulled out a bunch of classics. We got a Hatfield opener, a Junior, a Fishwater, a Weight.. all in the first set. The highlight of the show for me was the B of D opener in the second set (George`s first B of D). Second set highlights included Life During Wartime and the Tall Boy encore. Unfortunately, Holmes Center was a less than ideal venue for the band. The venue staff and the Holmes Center`s poor acoustics kept a good show from being great.
