Yes, cut short indeed. Bout as long as a UM podcast though :D

Ya, security was a bit over the top. My First Umphrey's show even though I've been a big fan. GOOD FIRST SHOW> Had me fall in love hardcore with them.

very solid 90-minute set which showcased the many musical facets of Umphrey's (rock, reggae, funk, indie, etc.). Highlights (to me) were August with Jimmy Stewart w/lyrics, funky jam in Kabump, Slacker (which never disappoints), and of course Black Water was fun to catch live.

I wasn't a huge fan of UM before this show, but I was totally amazed by these guys. The whole day was awesome. It would have been better if they had played longer. This is a powerful show for being short. Highly recommended.

This was my 15 show. Not a huge fan of the 5 band thing, thus UM suffering from the tardy ending time for each band, so only 1:20 hour set. Out of the gate with 1348, then hit it hard with August > stew. First DerBluten was amazing and tight. Band was having fun. Venue sweet, nice grassy floor, great sound. Security a-holes for no reason, ego gratification is the only motive.

Might have been really short but was a great one setter. I especially love August, Slacker and Der Bluten Kat here, but might be biased since it was the first time I saw Slacker and Der Bluten Kat live
