What a great show! Left Boone at 5:30 and got there just as Hot Buttered Rum was finishing their set. The Cheese def brought it and it was a good warm up for a great weekend at the Fox! The Friend of the Devil> Blackberry Blossom jam with Hot Buttered rum as goovin` and it`s always good to hear These Waves. The Rivertrance> Drums> Pack It Up> Rivertrance was a great way to go out! Seth they weren`t fighting, they were just experimenting with their music, the other 3 just went back stage to gather themselves for the next part of the jam. You clearly have no clue what you are talking about.

i saw this show after myrtle beach. a days rest proved very beneficial as this was the best cheese show ive ever seen. seth, you are an idiot. you have no idea what makes a good sheese show. no good jams? listen to the rivertrance>middle eastern music>drums>rivertrance that was an incredible, amazing jam(you thought it was a fight? idiot.). it was even better than the friend of the devil jam with hot buttered rum which was amazing. this show blew me away from start to finish. buy it and listen to it 3 times a day.

seth, dont know where you were standing (i was 3rd row center about 40 feet from michael kang) but that `fight` you saw where members leave the stage is called space/jam, happens virtually every show, NOT a fight. And if you didnt peak during that Friend of The Devil jam then you need to find another genre of music my friend. And are you aware that `that bluegrass crap` to which you refer is SCI`s roots? Check out their first album `A String Cheese Incident`. I said immediately after the show that this was one of their best I had heard. And after speaking with MANY others at the show afterward, NOONE thought it was a less than spectacular show (even the tapers agreed enthusiastically). Give it another listen. Please! :)

What are you talking about. That was the worst cheese show i have ever seen or listened to in my life. The set list was horrible, it was a bunch of honky tonk sing em to your girlfriend songs, not the cheese i`ve grown to love. No where during the show did they take me out of my head or just have an overall good jam. Not to mention during Rivertrance the band gets into an obvious fight and 3 members walk off stage, what was up with that? I love cheese and this show as horrible

this was the best string cheese show i`ve seen. the setlist was awesome and i`d have to agree with cj the lighting was great; ovens is a great venue. The cops were a bitch though
