Love the may the tempo changes during China Doll when it shifts into the major key portion of the song.

Clearly firing on all cylinders out of the gate! Some nights it doesn’t matter what they play. It’s how they play it. I was lucky enough to catch a bunch of shows at the Kaiser, camped outside on the lawn for three day stretches!

Keep releasing Summer 85 and I might just have to buy the box set!

2/18/85 was a deep trip. This show evolves as it moves and lifts the soul. Everyone is on fire. I first heard this 20 and some years back and I loved how fresh it felt. The chops. The delayed low solo on CC Rider, real bluesy. I half expected Pig to kick on Hard to Handle or Good Lovin it has that early Dead energy. '85 was a great year for the Dead x
