I know this isn’t a forum, but I’m commenting on former posts here. While I dig Cornell, I don’t hear that as the best of the best of the best. This is a solid show and this whole run has to be considered for audio quality, musical play, setlist (choice/direction). This show is right up there! I dig it!

Is May 1977 the absolute best month in Grateful Dead history? Being able to hear these back to back in the order they were performed and in the awesome sound quality provided by Play Dead, I am heavily leaning towards saying yes it was. There may have been better single shows or multi-night runs bit as an overall month, the band is absolutely on fire in May 1977

I was at this one. I think Al Franken was too. I wished I could hold onto the music forever. And now I almost can.

Always been a huge fan of this Peggy-o, personal fav. Love the Loser and Looks like rain from the first set too. Set 2 is fantastic as well.

So good! Love me some Uncle John's Band > Jam > Wharf Rat. One of the best Peggy Os ever. Scarlet> Fire ... so many highlights.

The physical CDs of my box sex never played, a 2013 production error. so thanks for the upload, I can finally listen to these shows now!

This show is just phenomenal. Gets overshadowed by the Boston, Cornell, Buffalo shows just prior to it. It shouldn’t. Just take a look at the set list. Then play it from start to finish. I guarantee you’ll put it in your Play Dead library.
