A surprising disappointment from a great era of the Primal Dead. The tape runs noticeably slow during the parts of "Alligator" that were spliced away for use on ANTHEM OF THE SUN, and nobody has ever given a semi-decent explanation as to why the weird tape-slowdown (as sources switch) was kept here. Beyond that, this Road Trips release originally included (1) multiple bonus tracks that have been inexplicably removed from this release (2) a bonus disc of even MORE essential rarities. RETURN THEM.
