Funny to see that this was someone first tape...mine, too. First set only, with the 7/13/84 Scarlet>Touch>Fire as filler. Not a bad intro. Always loved the Bird Song from this show..and early in the set is different.

It was a hot and sunny day in Berkeley. I always loved how they staggered the showtimes during the Greek weekends. 7 PM the first night, 5 PM the second night 3 PM the third. This show was a sweet cherry on top after getting Dark Star the first night. I remember being convinced they were going into CSNY’s “Carry On”during Bird Song ?? I also remember Van Morrison’s “And It Stoned Me” being played during the set break. I remember getting sound boards from this show soon after. This recording sounds fantastic, and the playing is inspired for sure. Thank you!
