This is one of the most valuable Grateful Dead releases of all time. Dick's Picks 22 includes excerpts from 2/23-24/68 and I wish we had the complete shows, but this will do. Rough and ready, slightly half-arsed, and ALWAYS ready to explore. This is the first night, and our selection ends rather inconclusively w/"Spanish Jam" (surely more was played), but the "Viola Lee Blues" - which breaks down and restarts at least once, without you noticing - is the real highlight. A true joy.

Working my way through the entire catalog from the beginning. 2/23 and 2/24 are not on relisten so definitely glad for this app. just finishing this one definitely a solid show.
