On the liner notes for DP26, Bear has a ton of memories about the Chicago show from the night before...and then absolutely none about this one. But, as he notes, "the music speaks for itself." The Dead arrive late to the venue and compensate by *immediately* getting down to business, opening with Lovelight just to get the crowd going. Me & My Uncle returns to the setlist (and never leaves). Dark Star is SUBLIME - better than Live/Dead. A compact gem.

Nice to see me & my uncle return. I feel like it wasn't in the mix at all in 68 and any of 69 before this point. Still missing cold rain and snow which also fell off about the same time.
