We get more of this show than we do of the night before, which is a bit strange since it's a slightly less focused setlist. Again, however, these are hair-splitting complaints, because 8/24/71 is just as spirited a performance as 8/23/71, and my primary complaint is that these shows haven't been restored to comlpetion now that they stream on Playdead. The real rarities are Pigpen's "Empty Pages" (a rather weak original) and the debut (and very raw) performance of "Brown-Eyed Women."
