Straight out with Truckin' Gotta love the scene man. Bobby's slip is brand new. Real wild. Swinging play on this firm favourite. Jerry's lift just hits right. Every time. Pig is on fire. Front and Centre. Sugaree is smooth, from the vocals to Phil's dreamlike bass licks. This is a gem of an outing. Mr Charlie caught me in the traps a year later in '72 man, This rip is a real worker. Solo shakes and rattles. One of Jerry's best of the Winter run. Loser works for me. It's as haunting and soulful as any '77 outing. On the level, real raw and clean. Billy sticks it hard on Big Railroad Blues.. 12/14/71 showcases everything about '71 Dead. If you're a Deadfreak or trying to get shown the light. This show won't disappoint. Don't sleep on it x

My Dad told me he went to this concert when he went to school in Ann Arbor. He told me he also saw Pink Floyd at the same place.

The first set of this show was one of the first incredible sounding tapes I got a hold of when I was 18 and had just gotten in the bus. The lights guy drama blew my mind.
