Wowza. This little partial has long been in my personal archive, but not in such shining quality. If you are a fan of single drummer, fall 1973 magic then you should check this out. Note the sweet drip from Morning Dew into PITB. Jerry was an endless fountain of improvisation and you can really hear how connected Jerry and Keith could get on a good night. Me and Ms. Spunion give this one 10 thumbs up, we love trippy jazzy Jerry time. The PITB cuts straight to the heart of things, make sure and check it out. I imagine if we had the full show this would have been one of the best shows of 1973. All of November and December 1973 melt face, this is no exception.

If you are the taper/collector who is a completest, one who adds complete shows to your archive, this jewel will change your habits! The musical conversations within had me playing this on loop as bonus to wake of the floods 50th. Keith and Jerry communicate as he and Brent would often do throughout the next decade. Bobby transends past the rhythm role allowing for these discussions. Phil hits, throughout, solidifying that, Lesh is more! All this while Billy dances between the raindrops of his own storm. This is some of the most impeccable music from the boys and downright nasty. Proving they are "the greatest rock and roll band there ever was" Bill Graham
