Denver 11/21/73. Man, that looping, lead guitar work sits discreet and heavy over Bobby's vocals on the M&MU opener. From the opening riff it feels like we're waiting for that brief solo from Jer.
Spectacular. Really gets to the bones man.
Sugaree and Jack Straw are cut sweet.
Then a slow, harmony hitting Dire Wolf.
After the bluesy BTW and BRB you really know you're jiving to prime early 70s Dead, and what an experience.
Big Railroad Blues has it all. Light turned on.
The entire show is exceptional.
Brokedown Palace. As good as the Europe '72 performances, thinking extended JG solo at Newcastle...
