This 1974 pick for the 30 TRIPS set is strangely unrepresentative in a way; the 'essence of '74' surely came during the summer months of the era (as can be heard here). This is from the (famously snakebitten) E'74 tour, right before they decided to hang it up for a year and a half.
What makes this valuable is to hear an obviously knackered band still inventing new sequences. The second set jam is strangely devoid of a big central focus, but hops around brilliantly. Excellent sound, too, far better than DP7
