Whole lotta firsts on this show: the first time the Blues For Allah material was taken out in public for live performance (much of which they would never play after this year's three shows), the first Vault release, the first complete show EVER released by the Dead - back when they were still together.
They chose wisely. Sage & Spirit, Unusual Occurrences, and the title track itself were one-offs for this show only. Help/Slip/Franklin makes its grand debut. The rest is joyful and brilliantly played.
