St. Stephen is jammed out in a unique way and the eyes is like a backwards throwback to the pre hiatus eyes before slipknot. I don't know if they ever played these two songs this way before or after. 76' is so fun for me with these new things they were trying out as they regrouped with Mickey, after blues for Allah, and their solo project influences. It is such a pivotal year, literally, for them. - this show is another great showcase of that

the band at their best. this is one of the best mixes I’ve heard. It’s a Bobby appreciation mix. The cadence of this tour is sooo pleasing. Coming off solid Portland Paramount shows. Not to be missed.

The Boston run in 1976 is the first time the revived Dead (with Mickey back in the fold) really hit fire, and in retrospect it's no surprise this first show of the run, 6/9/76, was also the first released - as the final Road Trips release. A wonderfully ethereal show - '76 Dead's slight hesitance made it more spacious and delicate - marred only by the band glitching the rhyrhm during "Dancing."
