Crazy Fingers is beautiful. Donna sounds so good!

This is a very interesting and unusual show. Most of the first set is pretty boring, well-played like everything this month but just standard, apart from the smoking jam in big River and a beautiful instrumental part in the first half of Supplication. Then comes a Playin’ in the band that is one of the best I’ve ever heard - so beautiful and introspective with very little aimlessness. Then the first few tunes of the second set are again standard, nothing special, until an exquisite crazy fingers with a very special and unusual outro jam in which Weir appears to be leading everyone into Spanish jam, and they seem willing to follow, but it turns out to be a feint and he goes into the Dancin’ chords instead! Really interesting. as is the 13 minute slipknot!! Don’t miss the highlights of this show!

The Piano solo in Big River is spectacular.
