Absolutely phenomenal show, start to finish. Jerry and Donna sound angelic, Bobby’s great, but Phil and Keith are the MVPs. Throw on your best headphones for this one, and crank it.

Fun facts: Per Dave’s Picks vinyl insert, this is the “Close Encounters in Eugene” show. Fun facts: Jerry teases the Close Encounters of the Third Kind music scene 2:40 into Space - a movie he had recently seen twice in theaters. Bill Walton, who played for Portland at the time, missed the “local” show bc he was busy in San Antonio losing to the Spurs 106-95. Walton had 14 pts, 14 rebs, 3 blks and 6 fouls. If you add up those numbers, multiply x 2 sets and divide by 21 songs…you get…3.52 which is completely meaningless…or is it? lol. Great, high energy Sunday night show. (~);}

The close encounters jam to st stephen is epic and when jer kicks off st stephen you can tell phil was like whoa buddy thats my thing!!!!
