I was 50+ shows into my Grateful Dead “career“ when I attended these Hartford shows, and I had never seen a crowd so pumped. From the front row to the back people were on their feet just going wild. Pretty impressive to witness. Garcia was back!

The one two punch opener of midnight hour and cold rain and snow make me drive fast! I was only 5 in 1987 but this matrix recording makes me feel like I’m in the arena!
