Baby that Scarlet>Fire fits like a cosmic skin.
It's tight. It's precise. It's got real flavour. Sweet, sweet show. There's no loose ends here baby. The entire experience is electric and dynamic.
This changes lives, perspectives...it's a scene man.
Don't sleep on it x

Forgot to mention the first electric Bird Song since ‘73! Not as expansive as 1981 versions but as dreamy as it gets

This is a terrific show with great sound quality and fine performances from the whole band, especially Jerry and Brent. ALL the Garcia/Hunter numbers are especially tasty, with Jerry’s voice at his most soulful and plaintive. Probably my favourite Brent-era versions of Loser, Ramble, Deal and Ship, a very groovy Scarlet>Fire with a just exactly perfect transition, a rockin’ Playing, and a lovely Wheel. Maybe the best show of 1980?
