For some reason “Cumberland Blues” and “He’s Gone” just hit me. Listening through headphones let me hear the subtleties of the individual players. And the recording is SO clean!

For a rip I boasted Black Throated Wind as this real dark, deep and easy bluesy gateway, for when I'd try to turn people onto the Dead. It was my line. And '72 man, there were so many far out BT Winds to choose from when you were game for switching that light on. Man, Bobby's voice. Delivered like good news. Moving into Bird Song the tempo roars delicate. This is a remarkable release and it sounds incredible on this app.
