I was a little kid when my step dad and mom took me to a bluegrass festival in the "70s. The man himself Bill Monroe was there. it was coondogs, bar b q and all us barefoot kids running around everywhere. I love bluegrass music as a kid and Sunday nights sitting around the AM radio listening all the bluegrass music was my favorite times. I'm back where I belong. Thank Billy and band for keeping those days alive.

It was like being at Hoxeyville again. So glad I caught Billy at a few of those. Charlotte was show #27 for me.

Really a special show. My wife and I got there early watched the acts before and after about 5 minutes on the festival grounds I was completely enamored. Would love to see the boys do a festival circuit like these and revive some of the small festivals across the nation.

I wasn’t fortunate enough to see Bill at those early venues …. the intimacy of this show made this my number 1 of MANY. Bravo Billy. Thanks for remembering the people back home!!!!
