Reviews for Widespread Panic: 4/30/2005 Nokia live at Grand Prairie, Dallas, TX

Last time that I caught the boys in action was before the big break. It make my body feel TIGHT to know that they are back in the frey. Not only as a band but as a cohesive unit. I love that George stepped out and melted my face off!!! The new lights are a sweat addition. Everything that they threw down in Dallas was golden. The jams were explosive and funky as hell. I love that the boys continue to evolve in front of us all. If you missed this one don`t miss the down load. Can`t wait for my next vacation!!!!!

FANTASTIC sound. Everyone really clicked all night. Time Zone was a winner. Barstools rocked. A very funky Diner! Panic is coming into it`s own with George. They will only get better.

Awesome Show.....I am deeply disappointed in some of our Widespread family so called reviewers. It`s this childish need to establish creditability by stating how many shows they have seen, or their vast knowledge of the origins of Panic (Please). A Panic show is capable of entering my body touching every fabric of my soul only to release me 2 1/2 hours later with the astounding appreciation for great musicianship. I got place for all you pencil pushing statisticians---It is behind the curtain, behind the stage. This will allow more room for those who want to FEEL the music and take the ride that is Widespread.....

This show sounds fantastic, and Panic goes off from the start. Barstools left me satisfied. I saw the show here last time, when it was nextage, the venue is really nice, hopefully the hill next to the lot didn`t catch on fire this time. Awesome show.

I have seen Panic since 1989 and have enjoyed many venues from a sweaty frat house, to small clubs, to huge outdoor venues, and legendary places like Berkeley`s Greek Theatre. I loved Mikey and remember when he played standing up, but really like the direction the boys are going now. This was by far one of the top shows I have ever seen and came off like an old school Panic show but with great sound and outstanding energy from all involved. George was finally hitting on all cylinders at this show....his leads were mixing well with JB. The sound is outstanding in this venue....just the right size and perfect acoustics mean you can get a clear mix anywhere in the building. Sunny had a great impromptu first set drums. The first set was strong, and the Conrad closer really got everyone going. The second set was seamless and had great song choices. Pilgrims is one of my favorites and it was smooth. Barstools and Holden?? Damn, just what you want to hear in a set. Thanks, boys, for a great time.

Hell of a show, from wrangler to bowlegged the boys got it goin` on. Keep it comin` fella`s.

this second set was absolute fury. the north>conrad is some of the best pain of the tour, but set two killed. the barstools is worth the purchase alone. best bowlegged besides 10/27/01. JB starts talking about only noticing you by the look of your chin! my row exploded after that line.

This was a kick ass show. I hung out with 3 panic newbies and the red hot crowd, atmosphere and music blew their minds. Many thanks to the band!
