The first set was great. The second set never stopped. Literally. They played for 75 minutes straight, perfect segues, top shelf jams. It was absolutely incredible to witness and be in that crowd. There’s a band from Vermont whose fans still chase sets like this one. Midnight Moonlight was on par with certain jams in Tahoe and Mud Island, ebbing and flowing, moving effortlessly from one movement of the symphony to the next. Just listen. Teases that didn’t get noted: Kung Fu Fighting in Midnight Moonlight and The Entertainer (Scott Joplin) in Shadow.
