Caught 6 Incidents on this Fall 2001 tour, this was 4th, and came on the Heels of my favorite show of the tour, the night before in Chapel Hill. Our hopes were high for a continuation. The Township was a decent venue, we were right up front on the rail in between Kang and Billy. The highlights of the evening are Shine, a fantastic African Skies> O/I, massive Lonesome Fiddle, even more more massive GWHW with a proto-IIWII jam before dropping into Search. My only Shakin' the Tree in 70 Incidents so far followed, then things got weird as Jellyfish began, then Kang moved to bass as Billy and Keith left and a jazzy intro jam to Jellyfish commenced, a killer Jellyfish ensued and a raging Dirk followed. They went traditional with a nice Old Home Place encore, and then we were off to the hotel and thoughts of Athens dancing in our heads. This show was really, really good. I definitely recommend it!
