12 hours before this show I was packing my shit out of Bonnaroo, spirits were crushed, and we knew the only thing that could bring us back was Billy MF Strings and BOY did we pick an absolute rager! Show no. 19 for me and I can saw our souls were throughly healed as they always are after witnessing Billy and the boys. Encore was bananas, when Thile walked out I thought it was a ghost. BMFS 4 life!!! Playing summertime that slow should be a crime, the boys should be in jail DOIN’ THEIR DAMN TIME!!! <333

Watched it on the couch and the energy was transcendental. That encore turned a Billy show into an all-timer. Been listening to it daily since, Crossing Muddy Waters is a powerhouse cover, almost appreciate this more than the original, the boys hit a tearful harmony that makes me feel something. That encore though, man. Dude. Unreal. Can’t wait for this weekend for another run. At the end of the show, after the credits they thank us for watching, but man, thank yall for the opportunity to witness history.
