If you’re into King Crimson for pure technical virtuosity, then this mammoth final-night performance in Chicago is probably the one to have. The band sounds tight as Hell, helped along by (to my ears, anyway) some of the best audio quality of the run. Only hiccup is a bad guitar coming out of the drum solo during the “21st Century Schizoid Man” finale, but even that moment is saved by the cosmic force of nature that is Gavin Harrison.
