TIGHT! I believe these two RALEIGH shows were the sleeper shows of this little mini tour. The band was ridiculously tight. I do think they were overwhelmed of how amazing the crowds were both nights. I was a little lower the second night and the energy felt stronger. I’ve grown accustomed to their ever changing set list every night, however, I didn’t mind all the repeats on nightNight two. I mean, they’ve gotten to a point in their career where they probably do have to play Alive every night. Also, Ed’s shout out to Skully their original guitar tech was a tearjerker for a lot of us there. I personally knew Scully and he was a dear friend who passed away sometime ago and for Ed to have a five minute speech about it and for them to show pictures of Skully during Light Years was very touching. Just two incredibly amazing shows. Definitely made up for not playing here since 2003.
