Well this Arcadia is an absolute smoke monster! High flying, peaky, blissful goodness. Drive, Salt, and Arcadia are all great.

A tale of one vibe and three bliss jams Drive - year two of the year of Drive! This one reminiscent of last fall’s drive in Minneapolis - more vibey than shreddy. A sign of things to come. SALT - first, the interplay between Peter and Rick give lovely Philip Glass vibes before launching a soaring, drop dead gorgeous three chord bliss jam. Peter nails his tone and brings the feels. I dare you not to smile. Don’t skip over this because it’s “only” 14 mins. It’s amazeballs. My GOAT SALT. Animal - goes immediately into unexpected territory… an Animal bliss jam. Full interplay at work with Peter providing tasty piano licks for Rick to play off of. Nothing particularly fancy. Just the happiest damn animal you’ll encounter. Arcadia - another song that wastes no time to bring more gorgeous guitar/key interplay. At 7:30, Peter introduces a sweet little lick that is the basis of the rest of the jam. One of my fave Arcadias! Builds very patiently to some well-earned peaks. Perhaps this is the “weakest” of the three nights in Milwaukee, but I expect these 4 songs to be in my JOTY bracket next year

Great to hear these guys again. What a terrific way to jumpstart the year. The Grant Green cover was smokin. If this show is any indication of what’s to come, lookout as they burn down every venue across the nation. Personally I miss the mojo that Jeff brings to the mix. Hope he makes it back soon. Without him they are still great but just missing something. Sorta like this was Gose and it sounds better as Goose.

All-time Animal, best jam of the run with N3 EMG a close second. Rick’s lick from 11:40 -11:48 sounds like the best of 4.0 Trey.
