Crazy Frog tease in Tumble. Moby hidden in Empress, this show really got going from Bob Don on…

My 3rd goose show, second time in the front row area. With a bittersweet farewell to Phil Lesh who passed earlier that day, this show was more than I expected to bring me up. 1st set was alright (Hot Love, Turbulence, California, and Hungersite areas were groovy). But the 2nd set they went all out with a decade long Cold Rain

I remember getting there early with my friend. We knew that day was bittersweet as the passing of Phil Lesh gave us a bit less excitement. But we refilled that excitement right in front of Rick in the 2nd row most of the show. My favorite memory must’ve been the Empress>Moby I>Empress reprise where I was completely going nuts within the solo area. They played a strong show, arguably my favorite i’ve attended thus far. Goose was my box of rain, and eased my pain and love that night. Unforgettable!

They just keep getting better! Saw SPAC shows this yr which were f*cking awesome but this is my favorite Goose show to date, and is probably my 2nd fav show in LJVM (1st has gotta be phish 97 but its hard to compare from that long ago lol). The dead covers were very well played and felt very special, esp the Borkedown Palace which has always been one of my favorite "album" songs.

This was my third goose show, and I wasn’t planning on missing it. The day Phil Lesh died, it was bittersweet especially when playing Brokedown Palace. A decade long gap of a Cold Rain and Snow, and a double encore closing with Turn On Your Lovelight. Among other areas of a solid connection, I would classify this as my best goose show I’ve attended so far between my first in Raleigh, 2022 and Raleigh, 2024. The hungersite was arguably best in the 1st set, and outside of a beautiful rendition of Brokedown Palace, Empress of Organos stole the 2nd set with a nice energetic jam. Double encore too. I was in the 2nd row and it was so much better than I expected.

Very special show for a good cause! Venue was super intimate with the stage set at basically mid-court of the arena because they didn't sell a ton of tix with 2 weeks notice for the benefit show. Very happy to be in the room! Hungersite RIPS & LOL at Moby not being notated #RIPPhil

I spent a good part of the 1990’s with GD, Phish, Allman Brothers, Widespread, Jefferson Starship, Screamin Cheetah Wheelies, and many others. I have been heavy on Goose since 2019 and seen them live 7 times, and via Nugs Livestream at least 50. This show was the best concert I’ve ever experienced. The set list was perfect right up my ally. Every song was amazing. Hungersite which is not necessarily in my top ten fav Goose songs goes down in my opinion as best song ever played in concert. Emperess is the best version I’ve heard. The Moby plug in is special. Bottom line I Can’t get enough of this concert. Comparison is the thief of all joy and while I’m doing it right now proclaiming this the best concert ever I will refrain from icomparing it in the future as I intend on continuing to relish in the moments that this band and other jam bands put out. ????
