At this point in the weekend run of shows, it's become clear there is a thread woven between all 3 nights. That thread is this: communication and wililngness to take calculated risks has yielded a number of top-tier jams. One could argue this thread starts at SpaffSki, runs through Roanoke, and right into this weekend. Brooklyn's "Comfortable" is the latest and greatest in this thread. An all-time outing for the song, this version is incredible, and a perfect encapsulation of the quality of music we've heard this weekend. There are no MVPs in this version; this one is TEAM through and through, and we're all winners as a result. A gorgeous, patient, post-peak wind-down leads us into the opening notes of Postman - a solid version in and of itself. Always nice when Diana shows her face, too :)
Next is a set composed entirely of covers, includeing two new ones. Plush and Anyone were the highlights of this set for me, with Anyone taking care of any and all of my dance party needs.
This version of Dirtbath is strong, pushing the bounds of typical DB's slightly, making it more interesting. RLH is good - I am impressed (but shouldn't be surprised at this point) by their ability to transition the tempo from a song like RLH to Cantaloupe while staying completely in sync with each other. In closing, and worth noting, there's a nice little "On Broadway" tease from Cory in minute 9 of RLH. I believe he teases something else in minute 12, but I can't quite place it.

Love when they do covers. Great show! Gotta love Pets into Mad Wold! Love that they have been adding Smoke Two Joints into their song rotation.

I'm not big on cover songs and especially don't care for entire cover sets, but this set 2 of trance covers is exceptional stuff.

This band kills it every time… jamming out PLUSH is proof they can groove to anything!! I thought Goose was the future but now I’m not so sure ??

Can’t Find my Vape is such a cool song.

It was going to be a "special" three sets which basically turned into a bit of a cover fest for sets two and three (pretty rare) but they played them so uniquely they are definitely Spafford tunes.
1st Set - fun little "Can't Find My Vape" then an Amazing "Comfortable" Jam, a great "The Postman" and a rare "Diana" to wrap it up.
Second set was all fun covers with Plush (STP), Pets (Porno for Pyros), Mad World (Tear for Fears), Anyone (Demi Lovato) then Brain Stew/Jaded (Green Day) for a full set of fun
