Reviews for Goose: 4/10/2024 The Capitol Theatre, Port Chester, NY

The band first gone with Cotter as the drummer, I gotta admit how much better they’ve been playing since he came along in the jams really feel more exploratiory than before. The cape cod kwassa kwassa and tumble both are some of the best jams of this year from anyone. I’ve hardly listened to as much Phish as normal since their summer tour and this run. A lot of people like to talk about how similar a lot of theirjams sound, but that can be said about any jam band, even phish. But listen and compare this to any other show before this and see how much they’ve really evolved. The peaks stay reach are out of this world, and it’s only giving me hope for the fall tour and what they do for longer

Love the Jessica tease in Cape Cod Kwasssa Kwassa. Don't think many people caught that

This Atlas Dogs knocked it out of the park with me, including a Mind Left Body Jam from them for what feels like the first time fully fleshed out like this.

when the Tumble jam goes to bliss, absolutely incredible music, Rick's playing is impeccable (+watch the YT video for amazing 'moving wings' light show during this part!) ... Goose got new wings with Cotter

I was (and still am) a massive fan of VW's first couple of albums. Hell, even the third wasn't horrible. But, they lost me after that. I'm all about bands evolving over time, just like we do as humans in life. That said, when a band becomes unrecognizable bc they've changed SO much, they've lost me. That's VW for me. But I loved the Kwassa jam...straight fire.

EoA jam is so damn good

Best Goose show I’ve heard. Can’t wait to see them live. Tumble, Hunger, and Kwassa are all top notch. Goose is establishing themselves as “the next jam band” after Phish.

That tumble jam is some hot shit right there, earthling was also dope, haven't listened to 2nd set yet but that first set was pretty tight
