Reviews for Jerry Garcia: Garcia (Remixed by LP Giobbi)

I'll agree it's different. More dance EDM kind of feel to it. I'm not sure Jerry would like laying his licks down amongst this backdrop. I am enjoying listening to it. (~):}

I believe that if someone asked Jerry what he thought of this remix/sampling he would have gotten a big grin on his face and a warmth in his heart that "this song ain't ever gonna end" and the beautiful poetry of Robert Hunter lives on too

Perhaps yuns ears and minds needed to ingest something different in their diet. Never met the man, but I feel like Jerry would’ve dug it. Think I once heard some quote about how he said music was meant to be played different every time it was played. Like it was an ever evolving, living kinda thing. I don’t know. But I do know that I appreciate LP for her work. Also throwin some respect at her for more than likely introducing some people to Garcia’s music. Keep spinning!

I LOVE this so much. MUCH better than the original. Can't wait to see what they do with Cats Under the Stairs. This is genius level stuff.

Thanks for posting, might be able to trick some friends who wouldn’t otherwise listen to Dead with this

I was skeptical when I pushed play, but this is just delightful. It’s an unexpected joy to hear Jerry’s voice in a completely new context. Loser is haunting; Bird Song is angular, weird and far out. Let's not overreact here, fellas.
