I thought John Mellencamp acquitted himself and his band well. He’s no Billy Strings, but he played the “hype-man” and gracefully performed his hits with joy and passion. A great bridge between Billy Strings and Bob Dylan. Billy’s Meet Me at the Creek was amazing.

I always feel bad for people that have to perform right after Billy at festivals. Especially John Mellancamp this time around
