For me, this is one of the best shows. I was not there, but I can feel the power of the performance, and the version of the River is, for me, the best he has ever done, it's incredible!

My first E St show……. I had goosebumps when Bruce came on the stage. I felt the power. Row L. It was life changing.

I think this version of The River is pretty cool, but those keyboards definitely give it yacht rock vibes. The petal steel is nice, though.

I feel it's worth noting that while this show was happening, 45 minutes down the road in Holmdel, Phish was tearing through one of the most ferocious YEM jams of all time, at the exact time Bruce was jamming out 10th Avenue Freezeout. #themoreyouknow

Opening night of the US leg 1999, eleven years had passed since they played together on tour and a great atmosphere inside the arena. All tracks are great bar The River, a slow plodding pale comparison to how he'd previously arranged it.
