Bringing out the young guys for E.M.D was like watching a lightning storm. Following that with the guitar battle on doin my time was the craziest thing I’ve ever witnessed. Pure art in motion. Doing things right was totally one of a kind. Both nights were unique and exciting. He felt real comfy in Colorado.

Magic happened night two at renewal #3. Billy was in rare form. The exploration is legendary and will probably go down as some of his finest examples of improvisational work. He stripped the songs down to nothing then brought them back to life. He sang songs I’ve heard him sing dozens of times, for the very first time. He discovered hidden elements in old songs. Pure genius. I can’t believe how lucky I am to have witnessed something so special. Please listen and share the world needs to hear this
