This was my second Billy show within 3 days. I went to Knoxville for my first ever Billy show and it was so incredible I drove back home to Nashville the next day, sat at home that Friday night watching the first Huntsville show on nugs, and immediately got a text from my brother in Boston saying “you gotta go to that show tomorrow” …he was right. I knew I had to. I couldn’t miss it. I got a pit ticket that night, prepared all day to be in the heat, and drove down by myself. I was greeted so warmly by everyone outside the venue, had great convos with several other fans, and felt like I just escaped reality for a bit and enjoyed incredible music from Billy and his band of absolute killers. Unforgettable experience. I won’t miss a Billy show near by ever again. And I won’t miss one on nugs either!

This weekend we’re my 3rd and 4th shows and if I wasn’t hooked before (I was), I’m hypnotized now. Amazing shows, amazing energy, amazing vendors and merchandise outside of the show, amazing venue inside. Night 1’s heat just made Night 2 feel all the cooler. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Until we meet again, Mr. Strings!
