2nd set from Reactor might be in the conversation for the best of 2023. The Reactor is a little less dissonant than most but packs a hell of a punch. Barber shreds flawlessly over the key change without missing a note or beat, the Tempest comes from a mile away but was the perfect choice going into TBC. Oddly enough they somehow all outshine a rowdy Crickets and the Nugguffer/Photograph sandwich in set 1. Don't sleep on this show!

You know the deal. Recent bisco is spot on… however the second set in this show is mindblowing. The reactor is seriously the best reactor I’ve ever heard, inverted after an inverted crickets. I keep listening and still can figure out how they reached the sound they did in that song. Apparently they just rolled in from Rexford and laid down this nasty show, but something extra was happening during reactor, the aliens landed, bugs came out, stars started dancing, who knows ;)

In a year chock full of incredible shows, this might be the best one yet. Second set is particularly stellar but whole show smokes.

Lol… nug > photo > nug is amazing but the second set is such a journey, with reactor > falling melting things down and tempest building back to a perfect tbc ender. New songs continue to impress and I’m finding myself hoping for them.
