First Billy Strings show, and first show I've ever rolled solo to. I am SO grateful that I made the decision to go. I've listened to some of Billy's stuff over the years, am a big fan of old Garcia/Grisman bluegrass stuff, and love Yonder, Greensky, etc... so I kinda knew what to expect. What I didn't expect... the venue being blown apart, and my face being melted off. Highway Hypnosis and Hide and Seek are both phenomenal, and the Alice In Chains cover of Nutshell was a total curveball. Sounds like I caught an amazing show for my first one!

I saw a ton of live music this year, some incredible shows and festivals all over the country and this set ranks #1 show of the year for me. Unreal.
