How do I even begin this review...? Well, I really miss the "Mikey" sounding Widespread Panic, but I have to get over that. I`m having issues with their "new" sound. George sounds out of tune sometimes, like he can`t quite hit the note, or is it just me, on stage he looks as if he`s really struggling. I know because I`ve seen them up close many times - I`m the guy with the Love Tractor hat up front in the middle or behind the tapers most shows. The band`s sound has been evolving to my ears ever since I saw them for the first time at People`s Bar & Grill. I was heavy into the Dead and Jerry Band at the time, and I had seen them go through some awkward sounds like maybe what Widespread is going through now. Anyway, I just had to get that off my chest because I`ve heard better sounds from my favorite band of all time - WIDESPREAD PANIC!!! For those of you sophmoric phans that think Widespread is IT right now, you haven`t seen or heard their best, hopefully nobody has. No 2005 Fox show can beat the select shows from 1999 to 2000 tours, you heard.

The greatest band has done it again.....

For those that couldn`t make it, they`ve provided the tunes to dream too.....

Keep On Keeping On Long Live Panic

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
Since the boys played Mabel`s in Champaign 91 I`ve been a fan! I find the sound great and the new system working very well. This helps bring those 3 nights in Chicago a little closer!

How`s George on JACK! Might be one of those moments where I`m not dancing, just drop jaw and stare. Same with Schoolsies whoopin Stop-n-Go...never gets old. Boston thru Philly for this burnout!!!
