What a way to welcome us all home boys! Rip-roaring cosmic creations aplenty - Disco on Down to This Part of Town - looking forward to some NYC Action with the Cows Coming Home

I`ll be wompin` up some heads for us all to achieve spiritual justice for George, he has got bust it bigger balls than all the critics/cynics. He missed a few notes at the Fox, but he is a differrent player, and continues to evolve. He has a hard job(although I`d trade podiatry for it). He has got tons of stupid pressure on him(from what I read), but he needs to forget idiots and and keep grinding. Mikey will never be forgotten, but George will fill ,and eventually expand, that space one day with his unique style. He is torn between straight covering and throwing out own sound. He has`nt been playing w boys long enough to pass all the tests or to compltely find groove. THANK GOD IN HEAVEN THAT THEY DID`NT QUIT. IF THEY DO, I`LL PERSONALLY KICK SOMEONE`S ASS ; DON`T KNOW WHO`S YET, BUT SHALL TOUCH ON A FEW HANDS , OR PERHAPS EVEN GET A MIND TO BEAT SOMEONE SENSLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!( WHY, JB, DID YOU CONTRADICTARILY CHANGE LYRICS MSTM , THEN TALK BOUT BEATING PERSON SENSLESS) SOMEONE JUST KIDDING; GEORGE, YOU PROBABLY DON`T NEED A DAZED FOOL TO TELL U B/C I`M SURE U KNOW , BUT YOU KICK ASS. I WILL NOT STAND FOR UNFAIR, STORT SIGHTED AND/OR MALICIOUSNESS TOWARDS YOU AS PLAYER OR PERSONAGE, AND AGAIN WILL EXCERCISE VIOLENCE IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE U GOOD PEOPLE DON`T DON`T GET SIDETRACKED INTO IDIOTIC SOUR ATTITUDES. JOJO, I KNOW U KNOW WHAT`S UP, AND SO OBVIOUSLY TOO JB. BUT IF I HEAR OF INTERNAL STRIFE, AGAIN I SHALT RESORT TO VIOLENCE, EVEN AT RISK OF BEING "SAT" ON. ONLY WEAK BRAINS AND NARROW MINDS MINDLESSLY OVERLY CRITICIZE. I , OF COURSE WOULD NEVER USE VIOLENCE, JUST TRYING TO BE FUNNY WITH EYES HALF SHUT OR CROSS-EYED AND BLIND. YOU ARE STILL THE BEST BAND EVER; YES, EVEN THE DEAD FOR A SOUTHERN MAN LIKE ME. P.S. HOW BOUT DBTRUCKERS OPEN AT SOME PT FOR YOU, RECENTLY EMERSED INTO THEIRMUSIC, BIG MUTUAL BENEFIT IF THEY WILLING TO DO IT. DO NOT ERASE PLS, THIS TOOK LONG TIME TO WRITE FOR HALF ASLEEP IN PEACE FROG PAJAMAS TO WRITE, U KNOW DAT I RIGHT, LOVE, UR LOYAL SPREADICATED FAN. PLS DON`T PHISH OUT. HEY, AND DON`T BLAME ME- I VOTED FOR JOJO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An incredible gift of music (once again) from nugs.net - one of the saviors of webmusic, and the messiah-like return of WSP couldn`t be more timely. Funny mix of tunes, new old and extremely familiar, with GM`s mad guitar, JoJo`s licks, Schoolbombs and JB`s pipes & rhythm jumping out of my speakers, which don`t do justice to Todd & Sunny. Boys are rusty here and there, but tasty everywhere. I know they`ll blossom and progress from show to show (as they did in 03) until we meet again in NYC. For all of you debaters, George-haters, and believers that Mikey is second to only the Creator, I point you to the wise words the Houser family, still posted on the WSP website:

Michael would be absolutely devastated if the band did not continue as Widespread Panic. He, and all of them, have worked for 20 years to make it what it is today. They have a history, a legacy, and a loyal fan following that will stick with them through this transition.

We wish the best for the entire Widespread Panic family - the band, the music and the fans - and look forward to great shows for many more years. As Mikey would say, "We hope to see you there."

Always great to get high quality panic, especially so soon after the show. And Baylor, you`re an idiot; the New Years `98 show was broadcast on the radio and it`s top-shelf.

Widespread Panic truly is a class act. What other band has endured so much but comes back stronger? What other band can give so much to the fans, the family and the music? I really enjoy the new songs and new but familiar sound. I have been listening to these shows since Monday, and I am still as excited as a little schoolgirl with each listen. Thank you George. You have been put in such a difficult position, and continue to progress beautifully. JB singing TPOT breaks my heart. Jojo is on fire and that menacing time machine of DAS, Todd and Sunny keeps thundering along. I applaud you all for creating music that touches the soul like nothing I have ever heard. Thank you all once again for reminding me why you are my all time favorite band. See you real soon.

Great show in Chattanooga. Keep up the good work. Can`t wait for the upcoming shows.

Please keep the mainstream radio out of our PANIC.
Without exception, when the radio gets involved, the boys play down to the lowest common denominator. The first set (except for the Disco>Surprise opener) was weak at best. Boo Radio Boo. It reminds me of all the wrangler>Walkin in the mid 90`s.

CANT WAIT UNTIL COLUMBUS!!!!!
